The Fiction Writer

"When life becomes something out of a fiction novel, that's when things become interesting."
My name is Rebecca Yolanda Sindy Perez, I am currently a junior in high school, attending a rather small school in the South Bronx. Reading and writing are the biggest passions in my life, and every day it brings me to a new world I didn't think existed. Honestly, no matter what may happen in the future, I know for an absolute fact that I will be writing for the rest of my life. I am currently working on two novels at the moment, and none of my work is published, but why should that stop me? (It might be one day, after all.)
I'm in this amazing group called "Power Writers", any of you who have seen the documentary "To Be Heard" know what group I am referring to.
I am also one of the first members in a club the teacher who started it entitled "The Spades Club". Which is where students can come and play spades, and whenever you lose a game you have to read 4 chapters of a book. The club was started so that students in my school who are not accustomed to reading or like it, can begin to.
I want to continue sharing my life in writing, reading and everything in between here in this blog and I do hope there is someone out there reading all of this.
